House rules

These rules apply on every night at Club Royal Amsterdam.

Minimum age and ID

The minimum age is announced per event. In case of doubt you must be able to show a valid physical ID. Photos of ID documents are not accepted. Visitors who refuse to show ID will be denied entry.

Nuisance, alcohol and drugs

Visitors who are visibly under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused entry. Drinking alcohol in the queue or around the club is not allowed and leads to refusal. The use, sale or possession of drugs is strictly prohibited. Drugs are confiscated, the people involved are removed and will be denied future access. Anyone causing nuisance to the neighbourhood will not be admitted.

Weapons

Weapons are prohibited and will be confiscated by staff. In the case of a firearm or similar weapon, the police will always be notified.

Conduct at the door

We expect a relaxed attitude and appropriate behaviour. An aggressive tone or behaviour means no entry. For your own safety and that of others, you may be searched. Refusing a search means no entry.

Dress code

We reserve the right to refuse entry based on inappropriate clothing. Flip-flops and open shoes are not allowed for safety reasons.

Right to refuse entry

When the venue is full, or because of the invitation policy or expected crowd of a night, we may refuse entry. We expect visitors to know the programme of the night they visit.

Intimidating or unwanted behaviour

We expect a tolerant and positive attitude towards everyone in the club, whatever their background, gender, religion or culture. Treat each other with respect. Unwanted physical contact or advances are not tolerated. Do you feel unsafe for any reason? Tell a member of our team straight away. We are there to help you. Group behaviour that has an intimidating effect is not tolerated. Breaking the house rules leads to removal from the venue.

Food and drinks

Bringing your own food or drinks is not allowed.

Cloakroom

Coats and bags go in the cloakroom. Management is not responsible for items left in coats or bags.

Personal belongings

You are responsible for your own belongings. We accept no liability for theft, loss or damage.

Venue property

Do not take, move or damage property of the venue. This also applies to bottles and glasses. Anyone causing damage will be charged for the costs.

Photography

Our house photographer takes photos during club nights. By visiting Club Royal you accept that these photos may be published. No rights can be derived from them. Send a removal request to info@clubroyal.amsterdam. Cameras and video equipment are not allowed inside the club.

Emergencies

In an emergency, and at all other times, follow the instructions of our staff.
